Tractor/General Machine Operator Wanted

Welshy Contracting is a family owned and operated company based in Ashburton, Canterbury The role We have a position open for a tractor operator to join our team to work on farms rut busting, muck spreading, hedge cutting and so on. We are looking for someone who will want to learn and drive other machinery such as diggers, backhoe, bulldozers etc. It would be an advantage if you had some sort of experience, but we are willing to train the right candidate and we will put you through the appropriate training and courses We have a full time, permanent position available to start immediately Our hours are normally 7-5pm, Monday to Friday with the odd Saturday work Job details - You will be operating tractors, trailers, and other machinery - Machinery maintenance - You will be working as part of a team, but you will need to be able to work on your own - Have a positive attitude towards Health and Safety You must have a current NZ Drivers License WTR Endorsement would be an advantage but not necessary Mechanical knowledge would also be an advantage
