Shear for Life "in remembrance of absent friends" Charity Shearing Event

A fundraising event with 3,000 sheep to be shorn by Shearers over the age of 50 years in an 8 hour period. Proceeds to be forwarded to Ashburton Cancer Society & Hospice Mid Canterbury On the day there will non-stop shearing, music, raffles, family activities, Coffee, Ice-cream, Hot Chips, BQ. An auction to be held at the conclusion of the Shearing with some great items being offered. A teddy bear shearing event for the children will be included on the day.
